Hi. I'm back. It's cold and rainy here in Boston, but as they say, April showers bring May flowers...and also this nice little weekend mix. I hope you enjoy it, whether you're curled up at home or blaring it from your open sunroof.

Do you recognize the beat from Never Be Your Woman? Remember White Town's Your Woman from 1997? Wow, that's a blast from the past. Wiley improves on the easily forgotten one-hit wonder. You've probably heard the next song, "Ali In The Jungle" in the following Nike commercial.

Kid Sister is back with some dancy fun; don't forget to check out the cool video for "Right Hand Hi" by Colonel Blimp. Next up is the hot new Uffie single, featuring Pharrell. Joy Orbison's "Hyph Mngo" is one of my favorite dubstep songs. The next remix by the xx transforms Florence and the Machine's song into a UK dubstep floor filler.

Caribou's "Odessa" is off their forthcoming album, 'Swim', their long awaited follow-up to 'Andorra'. After that, some new LCD Soundsystem (with an apparent heavy Talking Heads influence) off their forthcoming album 'This Is Happening'. Next, you have probably heard this The Blue Van song from its prominent inclusion as the first Apple iPad theme song. The Temper Trap is next up with one of my favorite songs from last year, "Sweet Disposition", featured in the film (500) Days of Summer and a Chrysler commercial. Next up, a song from the recently released album by Happy Birthday on Sub Pop.

Crookes is not misspelled, if it is referring to a group of lads from Sheffield, England. "Home" is another one of my favorite songs from 2009 from Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. It's got a psychedelic California folk rock feel, like the Mamas and the Papas meets Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazelwood. "Compliments" is off of Band of Horses' forthcoming album, 'Infinite Arms', which I'm really looking forward to. The next tune by Lake is a catchy call-and-response song off their 2009 album 'Let's Build a Roof'.

As for Zooey Deschanel, I'm as smitten as ever since (500) Days of Summer. So it goes without saying that I dig "Thieves", her collaboration with M. Ward off their second album. Cults consists of two twenty-something NYC film students, and I highly recommend their debut 7" release, in case bringing back the Shangri-Las was something you thought was impossible (or at least inadvisable).

Little & Ashley's tune is featured in Amazon's cutesy Kindle commercial. Next up is my favorite Jenny Owen Youngs song off her album 'Transmitter Failure'. Last but not least, Pete Droge and Elaine Summers bring you "Two of the Lucky Ones", which features in last year's Zombieland soundtrack.
