- Soderbergh To Help Reinvent Film Distribution?
Remember Mark Cuban's plan for digital film distribution to cut costs? It seems that director Steven Soderbergh is on board with this idea.The deal calls for six, high def video films from Soderbergh (produced and/or directed) that will be released on DVD, in theatres, and on the HDNet cable channel at the same time. Cuban and Wagner's company shares ownership of Landmark theatres and the HDNet cable channel.
