mp3 John Cale - Perfect (video), Madonna slams Paris Hilton for using Kabbalah as a fashion accesory

John Cale - Perfect (video)

If you can't tell by the blog name, the Velvet Underground are my favorite band. Although VU remained innovative with 'The Velvet Underground' and 'Loaded', they were never the same with the departure of Cale. I'm beginning to familiarize myself with his post-VU oeuvre. 'Perfect' is uncharacteristically poptastic but the "It's a different kinda love" bridge lets us know things are not as straightforward as they sound. The video is kinda disturbing, like pre-Eraserhead David Lynch. If you like things dissolving claymation style, you'll love this!

Madonna slams Paris Hilton for using Kabbalah as a fashion accesory
Madonna: "It's very hard to be a believer. I'm very serious about it."

If you haven't seen Strong Bad's critique of Homestar Runner Halloween costumes, it is a must-see lol riot!
