There are quite a few rave reviews for Dave Chappelle's Block Party. With the mere fact that Dave Chappelle and Michel Gondry are involved, I don't know why I would need any more motivation to go see it. The soundtrack comes out next week. On this track, Mos Def flows with a quite bit of energy and gives respect to Chappelle for making this spontaneous event of musical magic and feel-goodness possible. Other treats on the soundtrack: The Roots feat. Big Daddy Kane and Kool G Rap, Talib Kweli, and a nifty, dubby version of 'You Got Me' with the Roots, Erykah Badu, and Jill Scott.
