Pioneers of electronic music
I always thought that Kraftwerk laid the groundwork for the development of almost all electronic music. However, a great NPR story investigates the little known early history of electronic music and the influence of Louis and Bebe Barron and the 'Forbidden Planet' soundtrack (1956), the first electronic music soundtrack.
