Sigur Rós - Starálfur

For those of you who've seen "The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou", you know about what an important role the beautiful song 'Starálfur' plays in the film. While Sigur Rós have drawn comparisons to Spiritualized and early Pink Floyd, Starálfur and other songs reveal their style to be unique and unclassifiable. I love at around 3:17 when the subtle dubby percussion comes in with a touch of bass in the background, sounding like distant fireworks. Then, the lovely strings close it out. Here are some more songs from their generous website.
