M.I.A. rocks my world. This song still blows my mind.

Sufjan Stevens - Casimir Pulaski Day
This song is so beautiful in its simplicity. Life is so fragile and tragic.

3)

Three 6 Mafia feat. Young Buck, Eightball, and MJG - Stay Fly
The perfect way to jump-start a party. Tight production features stuttering chorus, synth build-ups, etc.

4) Kanye West feat. Consequence and Cam'ron - Gone
IMHO, the best song on "Late Registration". The fruits of Jon Brion's production are evident on songs like this, with gorgeous strings seamlessly integrated as if a strings section were right there in the studio with him.

Your list of top 20 is good, although your honorable mentions are missing a few artists that I beleive had amazing albums in "05. Devendra Banhart is the newest sound out there right now. None alike. Peace.
