If you can imagine Jeff Buckley singing for an ensemble of Mars Volta musicians plus the saxophonist from Roxy Music, you might achieve an idea of what Nozomi Phoenix sounds like. My friend is the drummer for this NY-based experimental/prog rock outfit so I thought I'd give them a shout.
