- The Shins - Split Needles (Alternate Version)(MP3)
For those of you who can't wait until next year for new Shins material, here's an alternate version of their new song 'Split Needles' from the Phantom Limb single. It's a much more lively rendition (and in my opinion more enjoyable rendition) than the album version. - Grizzly Bear - Knife (BBC Version)(video)
Come to think of it, I'm not sure I've seen the original version of the video. I've only seen the a capella one and a live performance. This one is rather trippy. The pale, aggressive mannequin hands are quite disturbing. - Nas - Shine On 'Em (video)
The video for Nas' new song on the Blood Diamond soundtrack is brutal. Maybe the movie will elucidate the unfortunate irony of rappers comparing how iced out their bling is. I doubt it though. However, taking your lady out to see it might be a cheap way to avoid having to buy her that diamond heart pendant. - Nas - Life's Gone Low
- Nas - I Already Know
Two new Nas tracks that aren't on his new album. [via spine] - Live Action Hamster Video Game
Hammy is on the run in this live action hamster video game of Monty on the Run. Hopefully, Richard Gere doesn't get any crazy ideas.
