Flashdance" and " Say Hello"), Anousheh Khalili is an Iranian singer/songwriter who hails from Richmond, VA. Her debut album 'Let the Ground Know Who's Standing on Him' was released in 2004. Two songs from the album are available on her site and posted above. There are a few demo tracks on her site and an unreleased tune on her myspace, begging the question of when a new album might be released.Anousheh is equally gifted on the piano and vocally. She cites Fiona Apple and Neko Case as influences. With additional help on the production side of things and expanded touring exposure, she could have big things happening for her in the near future.
