Waxx Maxx - Eaten Alive (video)
Eaten Alive is likely named after the Tobe Hooper cult classic. They wonder what happened to their sister. Perhaps she was eaten by cannibals?
- Waxx Maxx - Phenomena (MP3)
Waxx Maxx - Phenomena (video)
Phenomena is probably inspired by the Dario Argento cult hit from 1985, which is also well-known for featuring a young Jennifer Connelly.

Waxx Maxx - Celine and Julie Go Boating (video)
Celine and Julie Go Boating is named after the surreal Jacques Rivette French New Wave film by the same name.
If you are a fan of cult movies, electro pop, or both (like me), you will love Waxx Maxx. They're from Minneapolis and feature two sisters (Nicole Godiva & Alyssa Marie) and Mark Mallman (who recently performed a 78-hour long song; I wonder if that's a world record for continuously playing, even though it doesn't surpass John Cage's As Slow As Possible).
Waxx Maxx is light-hearted without a hint of darkness unlike, say, My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult, the tonal antithesis of this band.
