Make room, Robyn, Sally Shapiro, Jenny Wilson, Annie, Shout Out Louds, Peter Bjorn and John, etc...Lykke Li is set to make a big splash in the states, once her stuff becomes more available. Enjoy her brand of subtle electronic pop and delicate vocals.

How can a relatively unknown SoCal Mormon catch a big break? Well, being Tom Waits' nanny must have been a big help. However, if that was the only thing going for Jesca Hoop, she would not have gotten this far. Thank you KCRW for revealing her to a wider audience. Jesca combines eclectic musical styles effortlessly, often within the same song, and she has a unique voice that is playful and beautiful with ample range. The LP is a quirky yet enjoyable mix of pop, folk, gospel, alt-country, blues, and jazz.
