R.I.P. Chuck Thompson
The voice of the Orioles passed away from a stroke at GBMC at the age of 83.  For as long as I've been an Orioles fan, I can remember the voice of the Orioles, Chuck Thompson, and his history-steeped play-by-play and color commentary.  The many painful seasons of mediocrity would have been interminable anguish and boredom for Orioles fans without his voice.  I can't help but feel that a significant portion of Baltimore's sports identity is lost with his passing.
